The judge who sentenced him said Robinson's actions could cost taxpayers "hundreds and hundreds of thousands of pounds".

A court order temporarily bans any reporting on the trial, including its current status.

Details of the case will be allowed to be revealed later this year.

Robinson was reporting on a trial involving 29 defendants who were facing charges in relation to child sex abuse and neglect.

Robinson had originally arrived at the courthouse to cover the court cases of Muslims charged with raping young women and forcing them to serve as prostitutes.

In footage which was played to the court on Friday, the 35-year-old, of Oakley Rise, Wilstead, Bedfordshire, was seen filming himself and people involved in the trial.

He added "He was expressing his views".

According to the group's website, they stand for "free speech in practice" and "free speech in the law". Published videos show Robinson walking past the accused rapists and goading them.

The video had been watched more than 250,000 times within hours of recording. It was lifted after a judge heard submissions that the case was being widely discussed on social media.

Kerr jokes about resigning after Warriors win
Even if it just gives their defense something to think about, James needs all the help he can get - a common theme in this series. So if you are to have any chance of beating them at all, you have to make sure that defensively you're of one accord.

"That is the nature of the contempt".

He pleaded guilty the same day to contempt of court and breaching the terms of a previous suspended sentence.

Matthew Harding, representing Robinson, said his client felt "deep regret" at potentially endangering the trial. The reporting restriction had prevented the publication of any content to do with Robinson's arrest and subsequent imprisonment.

"He did not try to cause difficulties for the court process".

"No-one could possibly conclude that it would be anything other than highly prejudicial to the defendants in the trial", said Judge Geoffrey Marson QC, presiding. It's unclear where Robinson currently is right now, but the reality of how the United Kingdom is censoring its own people, for simply speaking out on certain issues.

Robinson's sentence follows a previous conviction on the same charge past year for which he received a suspended sentence that was still in force when he filmed his comments outside the court last week.

Robinson is no stranger to prison and has a criminal record dating back to 2005.

He also has convictions for possessing drugs, threatening behavior, disobeying a court order, possessing identity documents with intent and fraud.

It is too early to say where this will end, but this thought occurs to me: we have pointed out many times the fallacy of categorizing all opposition to mass immigration as "far right", as the European press has unanimously done.
