WWDC 2018: Everything to expect from today's Apple WWDC keynote

Reports in the USA suggest Apple could introduce a tool to help users better manage their time on their devices as part of efforts to improve digital wellbeing.

Along with the new versions of the operating systems that power the iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and macOS, it is expected that Apple will also announce several unique software features for its products.

Apple's CEO Tim Cook will take the stage on Monday at the company's annual Worldwide Developers Conference.

iOS 12 is expected toinclude performance improvements, redesigned basic apps (like Stocks), new Animoji and a greater focus on augmented reality.

Given that WWDC is a developer conference, it's become nearly tradition for Apple to unveil a sneak preview of the next version of all of its major software updates. It didn't catch on, and Apple has scaled back its advertising ambitions since then to focus on ads in its App Store.

Apple is nearly certain to use WWDC 2018 to unveil new versions of its mobile operating system, iOS 12, as well as its computing OS, macOS version 10.14.
