Oregon LB Fotu Leiato found dead near car crash

Police have confirmed that a body found near Autzen Stadium was a passenger in the auto that crashed near Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard and Kinsrow Avenue in Eugene on Friday morning. 22 Year Old Pedro Chavarin Jr. was driving the vehicle before it rolled over according to the Eugene Register Guard.

The crash happened around 2:30 a.m. near Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard and Kinsrow Avenue.

A woman walking by the area around 6.51am said she spotted a hand and brush over a person down a gravel path.

According to the report, Leiato's body was discovered by a passerby almost five hours after the initial accident. Police officers responded to the report and found a deceased person, who was identified at Leiato.
