Beryl is no more than an area of disorganized showers and storms this morning, but it will bring rain to the Virgin Islands and parts of Puerto Rico later today.

The storm remains in an environment conducive for gradual strengthening, including warm water and low vertical wind shear. Then it is expected to turn to the northeast and speed away from the USA on Wednesday and Thursday.

The next advisory from the National Hurricane Center is set for 8 a.m.
