The left-back was speaking after Liverpool's emphatic 5-0 friendly win over Napoli in Dublin on Saturday when the Brazilian number one thrilled fans with an audacious long-range, searching pass to Mo Salah on the right wing.

Chelsea have reportedly joined the race to sign Nabil Fekir from Lyon before this week's transfer deadline.

Fekir has recently reported for Lyon training following his World Cup exploits with France and during an interview, he has opened the possibility of a summer exit.

Switzerland worldwide Xherdan Shaqiri moved to Liverpool FC in a cut price deal from relegated Stoke City to bolster his attack after the playmaker's impressive World Cup campaign.

Liverpool have made significant strides in the market this summer as Klopp has moved to not only address their lack of strength in depth, but to also help beef things up at the back.

Saudi Arabia asks Canadian ambassador to leave
The Canadian Embassy had earlier tweeted and urged the Saudi authorities to immediately release them and all other peaceful human rights activists.

"They are all fantastic boys, they are able to play fantastic football".

It is claimed that a move to Chelsea could be cooled because of the fact Fekir would only be playing Europa League football next season.

At the time a statement on the Lyon website said: "Transfer negotiations with Liverpool and Nabil Fekir for the transfer of the captain of OL have not succeeded and Olympique Lyonnais have chose to put an end to this negotiation tonight". I am very happy here.

With two days to go until the close of the Premier League transfer window, speculation still continues over the future of Liverpool target Fekir but it seems highly unlikely he will wind up at Anfield this season.

The Mirror suggest that Lyon will demand at least £50m for Fekir and if Chelsea make a formal move for his signature it will be interesting to see if Liverpool decide to renew their interest in the midfielder.
