The never-ending drama that is the National Basketball Association offseason continued on Wednesday when The Athletic reported that All-Star guard Jimmy Butler requested a trade from the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Butler went to IG when Wiggins brother celebrated the news Butler wanted out. Butler is set to become an unrestricted free agent in July.
One player who definitely fits that category is Minnesota Timberwolves forward Jimmy Butler, who wants out of his current situation with the Timberwolves. "Therefore a team acquiring Butler would not need to utilize cap space in the 2019-20 season for such a contract".
Teague is 30, and if Butler isn't in the picture anymore, Minnesota is better off focusing on building something sustainable rather than trying to win immediately. Those teams include the Brooklyn Nets, Los Angeles Clippers and New York Knicks.
