Carolina kicker Graham Gano nailed a 63-yard (!) game-winning field goal to give the Panthers the win.

Gano's previous career long was 59 yards.

Following a 63-yard field goal for the win, a tweet was posted mocking an National Football League commercial featuring New York Giants Eli Manning and Odell Beckham Jr.'s spoof of a scene from "Dirty Dancing". He was 4 for 4 on field goal attempts and has made 35 in a row at home dating back to 2016.

The Giants took the lead on a great touchdown catch by Saquon Barkley with about a minute to go, only to have their hearts ripped out by the Panthers as time expired.

Manning finished 22 of 36 for 326 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions, both by Panthers 37-year-old safety Mike Adams.

Alex Cora made the right moves when Red Sox needed it most
Aaron Judge finished 2-for-4 with a first-inning solo home run, a walk and two runs scored in Saturday night's 6-2 win at Boston. But the Red Sox , frequent visitors who clinched the AL East crown at Yankee Stadium just 2½ weeks ago, were hardly intimidated.

Aaron Ramsey's goal that marked "the return of Gunners"
They made it hard for us to play but we knew if we kept playing we would score so everyone is happy today. And don't look now, but Arsenal has won nine games in a row under Unai Emery and are flying high.

What Saints QB Drew Brees Told His Kids After Breaking Record
The Saints' Smith, a third-round draft choice last spring, caught two touchdown passes from the 18th-year pro. With the game well in hand after the two-minute warning, Payton subbed Brees out of the game.

Reid started 12 of the 13 games he played for the 49ers in 2017, when he had two interceptions, four passes defensed, one fumble recovery and 66 tackles.

The Giants would strike back to make it 31-30; a 40-yard pass to Russell Shepard was quickly followed by a 15-yard touchdown pass to Saquon Barkley. In fact, no Panthers player had ever kneeled, although defensive end Julius Peppers stayed in the locker room the week after comments by President Donald Trump past year. None of Reid's new Carolina teammates joined him or stood near him at midfield.

Reid, who signed a one-year contract with the Panthers last week, claimed at the beginning of the offseason that he wasn't receiving interest from teams due to his decision to kneel during the national anthem.

Outside of left tackle Matt Kalil, set to return from injured reserve after eight games, the Panthers will be as healthy for this key stretch that includes four of the next six games on the road as they could have hoped.

Barkley jumped over a defender to score the final touchdown of the day for the Giants late in the fourth quarter.
