Walt Disney Pictures just released the first trailer for Guy Ritchie's live-action adaptation of Aladdin, based on the Arab-style folktale-and, of course, the animated film of the same name.

The last shot of the trailer shows Mena grabbing the lamp in the cave.

We then see Iago, the parrot who is Jafar's sidekick, fly through the night sky of Agrabah and lead us to the cave where the Genie resides.

Aladdin will release May 24, 2019 in India and across the world. They call these things teasers for a reason and we basically get about a minute of footage with some light narration. Smith shared the poster, which you can check out in the gallery below, on his Facebook, saying: "LEMME OUT!"

Eagles Called Bills To Get LeSean McCoy Back
But McCoy would be less expensive, both in trade price and in salary over the next two years despite having a contract for 2019. Players at that position now without a contract include Mike Gillislee, Orleans Darkwa, Terrance West and Christine Michael.

The film is just one of Disney's many live-action remakes of their animated classics and like Beauty and the Beast, this remake will feature a bulk of the original music.

Smith voices Genie, the comical blue Jinn who grants three wishes to whoever possesses his magical lamp. It stars Will Smith as the Genie, Mena Massoud (Jack Ryan) as Aladdin, Naomi Scott (Power Rangers) as Princess Jasmine, and Marwan Kenzari (The Mummy) as Jafar.

For those working behind-the-scenes on the film, Disney has secured producer Dan Lin (Sherlock Holmes) and executive producer Jonathan Eirich to work with director Guy Ritchie on the project.
