Eagles Called Bills To Get LeSean McCoy Back

Ajayi criticized the Eagles' playcalling against Minnesota following Sunday's loss, upset over Philadelphia's 17 carries compared to 35 passing attempts. But McCoy would be less expensive, both in trade price and in salary over the next two years despite having a contract for 2019. And now it's possible that he could be reuniting with his old team, as the Eagles reportedly inquired about his services.

Another important deadline is October 30, the date by which National Football League teams can make in-season trades.

The Eagles appear to have been suffering from a bit of the post-Super Bowl bug, as a number of the team's running backs are banged up. Last year, he suffered a dislocated wrist in Week 1 and missed the rest of the season.

Alex Cora made the right moves when Red Sox needed it most
Aaron Judge finished 2-for-4 with a first-inning solo home run, a walk and two runs scored in Saturday night's 6-2 win at Boston. But the Red Sox , frequent visitors who clinched the AL East crown at Yankee Stadium just 2½ weeks ago, were hardly intimidated.

On Friday, the Eagles restructured the contract of Fletcher Cox, per Adam Schefter of ESPN. Those players include Corey Clement, Wendell Smallwood, Darren Sproles and Josh Adams, all of whom have already seen playing time this season. It came as a shocker as McCoy had 6,792 rushing yards, 44 rushing touchdowns, 2,282 receiving yards and 10 receiving touchdowns in his six seasons with the Eagles. Not only did they lose the NFC Championship rematch at home, but they also lost their starting running back, Jay Ajayi. Players at that position now without a contract include Mike Gillislee, Orleans Darkwa, Terrance West and Christine Michael.

He was placed on injured reserve by Philadelphia on Monday afternoon.
