Broncos backup QB Chad Kelly arrested in trespassing case

Broncos quarterback Chad Kelly was arrested early Monday morning, according to a press release from Englewood, Colo., police.

A Denver Broncos quarterback was arrested last night, following Von Miller's Halloween party at Gothic Theatre. A woman was holding her child on the couch inside the home when the man entered uninvited.

If Kelly did not have alcohol in his system and was in some random family's living room mumbling incoherently, what are we to deduce from that?

Kelly appeared in court Tuesday morning on first-degree trespassing charges.

"We're very, very disappointed in Chad and the situation he put himself into..." "We are in the process of getting all the facts and talking to Chad, and then we'll figure out exactly which direction we're going to go". According to the release, the police received an initial report of a man standing outside the private residence, and while officers were responding, they were informed that the male was now inside the residence.

Scores hurt in Rome metro escalator accident
Italian media have reported that more than 20 people were injured when the escalator leading down to the metro station collapsed. La Repubblica website said the escalator broke after singing and chanting fans started to jump up and down on it.

"We're going to look into this, and look into it very seriously, because the charges are very, very serious and we understand that", Elway said. Rapoport says Elway is "extremely angry" and all options, including releasing the second-year quarterback, are still on the table.

Kelly was selected with the final pick of the 2017 draft, which dubbed him "Mr". At the time of Kelly's arrest, some fellow Broncos were attending a Halloween party inside the Gothic; it's unclear whether Kelly had been at the party earlier. After being dismissed from Clemson in April 2014 for conduct detrimental to the program, Kelly starred at Ole Miss for two seasons and was later selected by the Broncos in the seventh round of the 2017 draft.

Elway, who played in the National Football League at the same time as Jim Kelly, remains close friends with the former Bills QB.

It's been a bad season for Broncos quarterbacks.

Yikes. Kelly didn't look THAT wonked out in his mugshot, although perhaps he's smiling because he's not entirely aware of the full circumstances of what happened?
