Ariana Grande reportedly pulls out of Grammys ceremony over performance disagreement

A source close to the singer tells CNN that Grande has decided not to perform at Sunday's event - or attend - after a dispute with the show's producers.

They say she felt "insulted" after the producers initially refused to allow her perform "7 Rings," her recent number 1 hit from the forthcoming album "Thank U, Next". And because their demands for Ari's performance at this year's ceremony were so, erm, Grande, she has pulled the, erm, Grande move of backing out of the show.

The source added that stipulations such as these were not imposed on other performers on the show. The Grammys committee was using her likeness in promotional billboards all across Los Angeles, with tons of marketing devoted to her now-cancelled February 10 performance.

With Grande pulling out of both performing and attending the awards ceremony, it could lead to a big dip in the ratings, giving how popular she is at the moment.
