Sony has announced that its long-requested PSN ID change feature is finally seeing a release on PlayStation 4 today. Select "Account Management", "Account Information", "Profile", and then "Online ID".
Enter your new online ID or select one of the suggestions. However, you can revert to an older handle for free at any time, and Sony also says your old IDs will never be up for grabs.
All PS4 users with non-child accounts can change their ID, either through the PS4 or a web browser.
Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the change. That said, Sony does not guarantee all games fully support the feature.
