It’s safe to say that Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green and the entire city of Cleveland do not get along.
But before the incident involving Green’s second-technical-foul-but-whoops-it-was-actually-his-first, there was a amusing moment where Kerr argued with a ref, presumably about the first technical foul that was mistakenly issued to Green. “They don’t seem to be the sharpest people around”. The table informed us that it was his second technical foul and ejected [Green].
“I thought they called [the first technical] on Draymond”, Kerr said. Let’s take a look at the official score cards (and how they somehow changed) during the game. “Draymond sucks!” enveloped Quicken Loans Arena throughout a night in which Green was given two technicals, only to have one rescinced and given to Steve Kerr later.
Not much gets said by anyone on either team involved in the Finals that doesn’t find it’s way onto one form of social media or another.
It played a huge role in Game 4 where the Cavs were concerned.
“All of it”, he said. But, it doesn’t come close to the amount of complaining that Green does on a game-to-game basis. That was what it was.
“The procedure is to advise the table who the technical foul is on and with the player we give a number”.
“In the moment, I thought I had verbalized to the table that the technical foul was on Coach Kerr”, Goble told a pool reporter after the game.
“Some things just never change, right?”
