Hanson Brothers Slam Justin Bieber: ‘It’s Chlamydia of the Ear’

Now on tour in support of the 20th anniversary of that record, the trio were playing a game of Whose Song Is It Anyway? with Aussie radio hosts Amos, Cat & Angus when a snippet of Bieber’s Despacito came on.

When “Despacito” was played, the hosts beat them to the punch and identified the song as a Bieber tune.

Interviewed recently by Adelaide, Australia’s Hit107 FM, the brothers were asked to play a song guessing game called “Whose Song Is It Anyway?“. The band admitted they don’t listen to much “modern” music and they weren’t kidding.

How rude! Hanson slammed Justin Bieber and his music in a new interview, comparing the pop star’s music to a sexually transmitted disease.

“It’s like hanging out with a koala, it’s just ear infections they’re bad, it’s chlamydia of the ear”. Really driving the point home, another brother piped up to describe the song as “chlamydia of the ear”. When Justin Bieber’s Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee collaboration “Despacito” came up, they didn’t know the answer. “Whenever Justin Bieber gets sort of near me or near my ears. It’s just, ear infections they’re awful”. Whenever Justin Beiber gets near me or near my ears, it’s like hanging out with a koala.
