LaVar Ball and two of his sons, new Los Angeles Lakers guard Lonzo Ball and high school prospect LaMelo Ball, appeared on WWE’s Monday Night Raw at the Staples Center on Monday evening in an effort to promote their “Big Baller Brand”.
By the end of the segment, in which LaVar went toe-to-toe with WWE superstar The Miz on his aptly named Miz TV talk show, Ball had removed his shirt and started to run around the ring.
And you know what?
LaVar Ball and LaMelo Ball were the first guests of The Miz on WWE Raw as mannequins wearing BBB clothes lined the ring.
LaVar then introduced Lonzo, who came down to cheers.
After LaVar’s highly ambitious – an awfully generous take – prediction that his son, Lonzo Ball, drafted No. 2 by the Lakers, would lead L.A.to the playoffs this season, Simmons had a cryptic tweet presumably about LaVar.
While it is not official yet, there is a good chance that Dean Ambrose will get his WWE Intercontinental Championship rematch against The Miz at Great Balls of Fire on July 9. The duo has done French commentary for WWE events in the past.
Let’s circle back to Thursday night after the National Basketball Association draft and LaVar Ball.
LaVar Ball took his branding skills to a different sporting arena last night (June 26).
