Sehwag denies sending two-line CV to BCCI

In an interview to UCWeb, the 38-year-old said, “I would be happy to get that two line CV from the media source”.

Sehwag has been shortlisted for the position, but made headlines when it was reported that he only wrote two lines and did not give in a CV.

Needless to say, Sehwag continues to be an embarrassment not only just to India but to all sportsmen who have had the privilege to play for their national cricket teams.

India take on arch-rivals Pakistan in the ICC Champions Trophy final on Sunday and Sehwag took a walk down memory lane stating that he loved playing against Pakistan, especially Shoaib Akhtar, who he would loved hitting for boundaries.

Recalling his playing days, Sehwag said he enjoyed dominating the Pakistan bowlers, specially former fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar. Speaking further, Latif said that at the league stage, India handed a massive defeat to Pakistan, but later was vice-versa is seen in the final.

This prompted Latif to issue a rant in a 15-minute video against Sehwag and the Indian team.

Post-retirement, Sehwag has turned to commentary and has taken social media by storm with his one-liners on Twitter and candid confessions regarding his playing career.

The aggressive former batsman revealed that he rates Sourav Ganguly as the best Indian captain. Latif, taking to YouTube, took on ex-India cricketer Virender Sehwag, and said that “baap” or “beta”. “Whatever I had said was in good spirit and it should have been taken with a pinch of salt”, he said.
