Woman who stormed stage during ‘Julius Caesar’ is arrested

Two pro-Trump protesters interrupted a performance of Julius Caesar in Central Park Friday evening.

As WCBS 880’s Myles Miller reported, the Public Theater’s production appears to depict a US president eerily similar to Donald Trump being knifed to death.

Loomer was arrested following the incident when she refused to leave the scene, The New York Times reported.

“Everybody who has condoned political violence, cheered Kathy Griffin on, supported violet imagery against the president, anybody who has supported ‘Julius Caesar, ‘ they have blood on their hands because it contributes to the overall desensitization of violence”, she said.

The conservative activist said on social media that she is not apologetic about interrupting the production.

A production of Julius Caesar in New York’s Central Park has come under vast criticism because the main character who gets assassinated is made up to look like President Donald Trump.

In Posobiec’s video from NY, audience members are heard booing to show displeasure with the disruption, as Posobiec shouts to call them “Nazis”. Apparently, the blogger accused the actors and production of encouraging political violence.

The Caesar character wears a long red tie, a blonde bouffant, and grabs his wife’s crotch – modernizations that have sparked controversy among Trump supporters. She was released from jail two hours after her arrest, but she must appear in court on August 14th.

Posobiec – who also tweeted a video of his outburst – was led away by security out of Central Park’s open-air Delacorte Theater. She posted video of her protest on Twitter. You are inciting terrorists!

Loomer, a writer for right-wing Canadian website Rebel Media, took to the stage, yelling “Stop the normalization against political violence against the right!”

Loomer disputed that account, saying that she had not been paid for the stunt and that she did not coordinate with a second protester at the same show. “The staff removed the protesters peacefully, and the show resumed with the line ‘Liberty! Who wants to go watch the Trump assassination play…maybe use some “free speech” during the play?” on Wednesday. (There are also visual references throughout to Ferguson and Occupy Wall Street.) Charges of liberal hypocrisy were promiscuously levied – “The Left doesn’t like it when their tactics are used against their “expression.’ How many wd storm stage if “Obama” was stabbed?”
